Thank you for welcoming Porch Decor to your home. Here’s how to care for your display, ask for help, and keep your porch looking its best.
Pumpkins are natural, perishable decorations. Their condition and longevity vary with weather, placement, handling, and the individual pumpkin.
Soft or sunken areas, mold, and watery-looking spots can indicate deterioration. If a pumpkin begins breaking down, remove it from the arrangement. Send us a photo if you would like help assessing a concern.
If your display includes potted mums, check the soil regularly and water as needed to keep the plants hydrated. Sun exposure and weather affect how quickly pots dry out. Water the soil gently and allow excess water to drain.
Wilting flowers or foliage can be a sign that your mums need attention. Send us a photo if you are unsure what is happening.
Keep walking paths, door openings, and access to handrails clear. Check that pumpkins and stacked pieces remain stable. If anything shifts or becomes unstable, move it to a secure position away from the walking path and contact us if you need help.
